To schedule an online class:
- Tap a sign in the bottom right of Facebook.
- Tap Events. You may have to tap See More
- Tap Create, and then tap Online.
- Add the event details.
- Tap Privacy and select one:
- Tap done, then tap next.
- Select how you want to broadcast your video:
- Face book Live: Use to broadcast a one-way video that your guests can comment and react to.
- External Link: Use if your event is off of Face book. Include anything that guests may need to know in the event description.
- Other: Make sure to include clear instructions on how to participate.
- Then tap next.
- Add a description of the class and any requirements (like equipment or a minimum skill level), then tap Next.
- Tap Add Cover Photofit you want to add one.
- Tap Create Event.
Keep in mind that one cannot change the settings later, once created.
For events, there are four privacy options:
Private- Only the people who have been invited can see it. You can decide whether or not guests are allowed to invite their friends. The event description, images, posts, and videos are visible to those who have been invited.
Public- Anyone, on or off Facebook, can see it. The event description, images, event discussion, and videos are all accessible to anyone.
Friends: Only your Facebook friends can see this. The event description, images, posts, and videos are visible to your friends.
Group- Who can see the event is determined by the group privacy option.
- Anyone on or off Facebook can see your public group. The event description, images, event discussion, and videos are all visible to anyone.
- Only members of the group have access to the private group. Members of the group get access to the event description, photos, posts, and videos.
